Jason and Bryana dated each other for about a year and half until Jason left in search of his father's murderers’. Bryana knew Jason was a warlock but couldn't bring herself to admit to him who she really was; mainly because of his sister's, Amanda's, job as a vampire slayer. Bryana didn't know where Jason went or why he was gone for so long and neither did Amanda. Days turned weeks and weeks into months before Bryana reasoned that Jason had left her. So with a heavy and broken heart she left as well swearing to never love a man as much as she loved Jason again.
Jason, however, was kidnapped and held against his will upon finding out that his father was alive and held captive only to be killed again in front of him. Upon Jason's return, barely making it back alive, discovering that Bryana left him, he swore to never love a woman again but to continue to hunt down his father's murderer, who happened to be a vampire, and find their mother, who was a demon and alive.
Once Amanda moved to San Fran, getting a lead on the killer, Jason got bored back home and decided to follow and help his sister. Upon arriving, he ended up running into Bryana, years later, at a club. The welcome was anything but welcoming, as it opened old wounds for the two.
After a long talk and certain situations Jason and Bryana came to terms with their past and agreed to start over; Amanda and Bryana extended their mutual hate towards each other, nearly killing the other, but would part on fair terms for the sake of Jason and Bryana's love. Now the evils that Jason and Amanda had been tracking are now tracking them, targeting Jason because of his powers and neutral state, Bryana and Jason's relationship is threatened by trust and timing. Jason must confess everything to Bryana, including his vision of them, and learn to fight alongside Bryana and not against her. Bryana must instill all of her faith into Jason, and his family, to help him defeat those that oppose them. And Amanda must fight alongside one of her most hated enemies, Bryana, in order to survive and save her brother.
