As a mortal the Siren fell in love with a married man, but when they were caught the man was held blameless. The village women cheered as they burned her to death and her rage turned her into a Siren, an eternally youthful and vengeful demon who seduces married men with her hypnotizing song, then destroys the couples with the very flame that consumed her. This of course happened to Bella Repulsa. Daniel Embers happened to be that married man in the fifties. However, the heart aches for what the heart wants. Having met a very attractive woman [Bella] at a tavern on his night off he finds himself constantly cheating on his wife with the woman. Memorized by the way she moved he consistently went to her in secrecy before being caught in the act by one of his colleagues. Although, it was no where near close the Salem Ages, the townswoman buried his beloved mistress on the anniversary night of his marriage as a gift to his wife. He was no where near present, but if he had been he would have stopped it. What he was doing was wrong, but no where near as wrong as murder. None of those responsible were charged as in the 1950’s as technology and evidence were not as efficient like today. However, he found himself accountable and vowed to change his ways making up for his sins. He devoted himself to a local church and died while protecting an innocent that was destined for great power. In doing so he earned his wings to become a white lighter. Everyone deserves a second chance right? In becoming one he still continues to make up for the wrong he had done while human. Recently, about seventy five years later the two crossed paths yet again. This time however, things were not pleasant. Bella was out for a kill of lovers, lovers that happened to be protected by Daniel. The wife happened to be one coming into her powers that Daniel was looking after. Pissed behind belief Bella set Daniel on fire only to have him toss her into the waters. Daniel still loves her and Bella might still love him too, but she denies it and pretty much wants to see him suffer.
