At a young age she witnessed the murder of her mother. She never really got over it making it her own personal vendetta to find the person responsible. Along the way while working a series of dead end jobs she found herself witnessing a brutal car accident. Rushing to aid the person she found herself capable of hearing the deceased speaking to her. It was not along afterwards that she found herself at the beginning of the day. At first she thought she had dreamt the whole thing. Repeating her actions she found herself at the same spot preventing the crash. Realizing the possibilities in helping people with her gift on her journey she managed to aid those in need. In doing so she met a very attractive man while working at the morgue. He was a photographer, taking pictures of the bodies that had came into her. Working so close to one another they managed to form a very good relationship with each other. However, as happiness gets to its highest peak there is always tragedy. Not long after Luc [the guy] proposed to her in a well lit romantic park setting the two of them were intruder by a horrible monster [Nicholai]. Destiny miraculously was saved [however, was bitten and lost a lot of blood, putting her in a coma for months], but Luc there was no hope for. As Destiny said when trying to reverse time, “so that’s how it works. I can save people, but I can’t save the people I love;” considering not only was her mother now taken, but the man she was planning on spending her life with. So now she is off to continue to work at the morgue looking for clues [bite marks] as well as going on some pick up trips [to get the bodies] to see if she’ll run into the monster that ruined her life.
Growing up Luc could not complain about the income his family household brought in. His father brought in plenty of money for the family with his own wealth and his mother just added to it. Although, Luc did not get his own mother as a teacher when attending high school he did learn a lot from the woman, not just the basic subjects, but a proper way to behave. She encouraged him to strive for his dreams and treat women with respect and dignity. In his mortal life he accomplished that. He became a photographer taking pictures of bodies at one of San Francisco’s morgues after attending University of San Francisco. In doing so he met Destiny Raines, a woman who worked at the morgue. They worked close together for quite some time before forming a relationship with each other. Luc suspected Destiny was hiding something from him, something that she wasn’t sure she could share with him, but hoped one day she would be comfortable with letting him in. Time had passed and then tragedy occurred. Not long after Luc proposed to Destiny in a well lit romantic park they were attacked by a horrible monster [Nicholai]. Destiny was put into a coma, and as far she knows Luc is dead. However, its Nicholai’s sickening nature to do damage so instead he turned Luc into a vampire.
Destiny met Nicholai at the morgue. In fact, he was just about to kill her before a corpse asked for her help. In doing so, Destiny reset the day, but not before Nicholai had shed some light about what he had done to Luc. At first, Destiny did not believe it. It was not till she saw it for her own eyes did she realize Nicholai had turned Luc into a monster. Trapped at Buckland’s with her innocent, Destiny called out for Aurora whom orbed the innocent and her away. Time had passed, but there was no question on what had to be done about Luc. Eventually, Luc and Destiny ended up right back where they had started; at the morgue, where she had turned him into dust. So much for Nicholai’s masterpiece.
