Every few years or so, all five naked-eye planets appear in the evening sky at the same time. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter are all seeable in the sky. On this special night in March 2025, Melinda Halliwell is studying about the Salem witchhunt in 1692. Wyatt and Chris come to tease their little sister, and ask her what she's studying, when suddenly, the special lineary of the planets, combined with the subject of study and the presence of the three magical siblings, opens a timeportal and sends the three back to 1692. Melinda Halliwell gets mistakingly send in the body of Melinda Warren, who is at the time being accused of being a witch. Wyatt and Chris appear in the past too and have to save their little sister. But that is without calculating the wicked plans of Melinda Warren's cousin Mary and her puppetmaster Abigail, who wants Mary to trick her cousin Melinda into drinking a special potion that would, after burning at the stake, send her powers to Abigail, causing the Warren/Halliwell line to cease existing, and a new, powerfull evil (Abigails family line) to rise.
